Why ALM is built differently

A technologist who practices law.

Before law, the firm's founder spent two decades in contracts, strategy, and technology — culminating at Microsoft, where she led the design of an AI product that earned patent-pending status — on top of a master's in computer science from Georgia Tech.

That isn't a footnote. Years inside enterprise systems taught her a simple truth: a system is only as good as the integrity of the people running it. ALM runs like a modern practice — transparent pricing, intelligent intake, technology that respects your time — but never lets the tools become a place to hide. The efficiency is for you, not at your expense.

Why this firm exists

People deserve to be heard. Not managed. Not minimized. Heard.

ALM Legal was founded on a hard-won conviction: too often, large institutions treat people — and the lifelines their families depend on — as line items to be bartered away. But ethical leadership was never a math problem. This firm exists to put the human face back on the other side of the ledger — to meet every client with the same first question, to take on the matters others find too small to bother with, and to fight hard without ever mistaking volume for strength. However complex things get, the real victory is refusing to let the noise strip away your humanity, your grace, or your hold on the truth.

No matter is too small to take seriously, and no opponent too large to take on. Whatever you're up against, we don't back down.

About the founder

Built at the intersection of law, contracts, and technology.

Amber's path to law ran through two decades of contract and vendor management, strategy, and technology — at The Coca-Cola Company, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Microsoft, where she led the design of an AI product that earned patent-pending status. She doesn't just use technology; she has built it.

She earned her J.D. — and admission to the Georgia and Washington bars — to deepen a career already centered on contracts, adding a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and an MBA along the way. That range is the point: she connects the legal, quantitative, and regulatory perspectives that usually live in separate rooms.

She founded ALM Legal to put that perspective to work for clients: modern, efficient, and transparent on the operations, relentless and human on the advocacy. The throughline is integrity — doing right by the person on the other side of the file, whether it's a single demand letter or an ongoing relationship. Every client gets the same starting point — what do you actually want out of this?

Licensed in Georgia and Washington, based in Marietta, serving clients across Georgia.
